I’m an award-winning playwright and screenwriter whose productions include King Troll (The Fawn) (New Diorama/Kali Theatre), Chasing Hares (Young Vic), Two Billion Beats (Orange Tree

Theatre), Megaball (National Theatre Learning), Assembly and 2066 (both for Almeida Theatre) and The Invisible Boy (Kiln Theatre). Forthcoming productions include The Little Mermaid (Bristol Old Vic). I’m currently under commission to Manhattan Theatre Club.

 

I’m interested in dramatising the people's history, and putting characters centre stage who have previously been obscured. Stories allow us to imagine different ways of living, and that act of imagination is the first step to changing the world.
